Being part of North Tyneside Learning Trust, Rockcliffe First School follows the admissions policies set out by all schools in the Trust. However, there is a statutory requirement that arrangements are consulted upon in a seven-year period even if there are no changes to the arrangements.

 For the proposed 2027 policies, there are no changes to the current arrangements apart from some wording within the oversubscription criteria in accordance with a recent Office of the Schools Adjudicator report.

The consultation is running from December 17th 2025 to January 28th 2026. We will forward any responses to School Admissions at North Tyneside Council who are running the consultation on our behalf.
